About the artist

Born in Brazil, Marina Pereira grew up in the art world and it was her passion for painting that led her to attend Visual Arts College. Before graduating, Marina decided she wanted to explore more areas of work and enrolled in the Payot Professional makeup course, which led to her working for two years for the makeup company Oceane. During these two years, she had opportunities to work with major national brands in Brazil and grow in the Fashion makeup market. Thanks to a series of opportunities, Marina was able to explore her passion for painting in special effects courses and decided to explore this side of makeup with the desire to create characters from sci fi and fantasy films. In 2021 she managed to move to Los Angeles to study at the acclaimed Makeup Designory School and pursue her dream in the field of special effects.
